When it comes to luxury real estate, few homes make a statement quite like Mark Wahlberg’s newest purchase in South Florida.

According to the Miami New-Times, the actor and entrepreneur scooped up an estate known as “Palazzo di Lago” in Delray Beach—an opulent property listed initially at $45 million that he secured for $37 million.

The mansion sits inside Stone Creek Ranch, a gated enclave often referred to as “Billionaire’s Row.” Clocking in at 17,797 square feet, the Italian-inspired compound blends Lake Como aesthetics with a flair that wouldn’t be out of place in a James Bond film.

According to the listing, the design was “inspired by the tranquil glamour of Lake Como and infused with the seductive allure of Bond’s Casino Royale.”

The home has seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and enough amenities to rival a luxury resort. Among the features are a wine room, theater, cigar lounge, gym, sauna, catering kitchen, massage room, and even a dedicated car gallery. Outdoors, Wahlberg’s new spot boasts a saltwater lagoon pool, a tennis court, and a guest house for visitors.

Aldo Stark of Prestige Design Homes renovated and developed the property before putting it back on the market. Stark’s track record includes other statement homes, such as “Villa Spectre,” a $55 million estate, and “Casa Maranello,” a Ferrari-inspired mansion that sold for just over $50 million earlier this year.

Palazzo di Lago also has its own dedicated website, a rare marketing move in real estate that signals just how over-the-top this property is meant to be. The listing itself describes the estate as “not merely a home – it is a destination,” calling it “a celebration of world-class design, cinematic romance, and elevated living.”

Wahlberg is no stranger to making bold real estate plays. Last year, he sold his Beverly Hills estate for $55 million, a sale that made headlines in its own right. Now, by picking up this property at nearly $8 million under asking, he added another high-profile win to his real estate portfolio.

The purchase also puts Wahlberg in good celebrity company. Recent buyers in the so-called "SoFlo" area include The Weeknd in Coral Gables and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy in Islamorada.
