The Brazilian Butt Lift remains one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures of the modern era. However, due to the financial burden brought on by choosing such a path toward fundament enlargement, some turn to far more dangerous and generally sketchy methods of achieving the same aesthetic tweak.
In the latest edition of Complex News Presents, Dr. Tansar Mir is among those interviewed on this pressing topic.
He cautions against taking "the easy way" to these surgeries through underground and/or outright illegals means.
"This is all black market stuff, it's word of mouth, somebody who had the procedure done tells their friend . . . It's a legit back alley procedure not done by doctors, not supervised, not legal, not FDA approved," he said, noting the inherent dangers of this popular alternative.
Despite these risks, that practice continues to this day. "When somebody wants something, nothing's gonna stop them," Dr. Tansar Mir said.
