After almost two years behind bars, Blueface has confirmed that he’s been released from prison.

Across a series of posts shared on Instagram, Blueface nonchalantly revealed that he’s a free man once again. “Still that n***a, two years later, on the dead homies,” he said in one of the clips, which can be seen below. He stressed that everyone should follow him on Instagram soon, because he’s planning to make his page private.

As shown in California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation records, Blueface became eligible for parole this month. The 28-year-old rapper turned himself in to authorities in January 2024 after he violated his probation, a sentence he received because of a shooting in Las Vegas in 2022. He was sentenced to four years behind bars in August last year for a battery incident and a probation violation.

Before his release, his mother, Karlissa Saffold, shared a video that showed someone under bedsheets, sparking speculation that he had been released. His father also hinted about it on Instagram, per XXL.

“Today is the end of a chapter in my family’s life,” his father wrote in a vague post. “Tomorrow is the beginning of a new chapter in my family’s life. Can’t wait.”

Last month, Saffold spoke with TMZ Hip Hop and indicated that her son was days away from being released. “Well today I got a call and I can't tell you exactly cause he's like, 'Don't be telling my exact date,” she said. “I have the coming home party. Make sure you guys get your tickets for the celebrity Blueface coming home party. I'm going to be picking him up with his kids. His girlfriend got us a limo so you know I'm excited.”
