Before she ran away from home and was found dead in a Tesla registered to singer-songwriter D4vd, police were reportedly called to the home of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez over 10 times in one year.

As reported by TMZ, Riverside County Sheriff deputies responded to 11 calls at the 15-year-old's home in Lake Elsinore, California, between February 2024 and April 2025.

Police records show that officers received three calls on a single day, March 19, 2024. That was the same date that Rivas Hernandez was seen on surveillance video from a local liquor store.

According to the police records, the majority of the calls were billed as "minor crime investigation," while one was listed as a call for "suspicious circumstances."

Four of the incidents received police reports, while authorities did follow-ups on at least three of the calls.

Damien Hernandez, 15, who previously dated Rivas Hernandez, recently opened up about her troubled home life. He described his ex as "really kind" and someone who "wanted something serious."

He said that she repeatedly told her about her home life and described her parents as "mean" and said that she "didn't like them." He added that she talked about running away from home and joked about it in front of friends, but no one took it seriously at the time.

The remains of Rivas Hernandez's body were discovered in the Tesla registered to D4vd on Sept. 8 following reports of a "foul odor" coming from the vehicle. Police have indicated that it's "very likely" she had been dead for "several weeks" before her body was discovered in the towed Tesla.

"We know that the Tesla had been parked at the location from which it was towed for several weeks, so it is very likely Celeste Rivas Hernandez had been dead for several weeks prior to her body being discovered," said Los Angeles Police Department Robbery-Homicide Division commanding officer Scott M. Williams.

A cause of death has not been determined, and D4vd has not been charged. The investigation remains ongoing.
