Monica appears to have noticed that Mario didn’t thank her after performing during her and Brandy’s recent Los Angeles show.
Monica and Brandy are currently on their The Boy is Mine Tour, which hit Inglewood, California, on Nov. 9. A number of celebrities were in attendance, including LL Cool J, Queen Latifah, Rihanna, Lena Waithe, OT Genasis, and Blxst, all of whom Monica thanked in an Instagram post—except Mario.
“LA…. Thank You for The Overwhelming Amount of [love],” she wrote. “Brandy & I had another sold out show … Thank You Father God, you’ve exceeded my desires & blessed me with more than I could dream of.”
Monica's post came after Mario appeared at the show and only showed love to Brandy.
“Make some noise for the queen, Brandy, one time. One of the greatest to ever do it,” he said in a clip. “I’m so happy to see her getting her flowers. … Brandy, thank you for having me out tonight.”
Monica returned the favor at the concert when she and Brandy thanked their celebrity friends who came out to the show, but Monica didn't mention Mario. After rattling off the list of famous attendees, Monica asked Brandy “who else” was there, to which Brandy said, “Mario.”
Monica and Brandy have been on the road for almost a month now, after kicking off The Boy is Mine Tour on Oct. 16 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pair is set to continue their jaunt on Nov. 13 in Charlotte, North Carolina, before continuing on to New York City, Detroit, New Orleans, and Houston, before wrapping on Dec. 14 in Jacksonville, Florida.
