OutKast is being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and GAS is commemorating the moment with official OutKast GAS Trading Cards available on Complex.
The Atlanta duo's induction marks a historic milestone for Southern hip-hop. André 3000 and Big Boi transformed the genre with their genre-blending sound and creativity, delivering albums that pushed boundaries while staying rooted in the culture. From the psychedelic funk of ATLiens to the sprawling double album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, OutKast proved that hip-hop could be experimental, commercial, and critically acclaimed all at once. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame recognition cements their legacy as one of the most influential acts in music history.
The GAS Trading Cards set includes three cards honoring ATLiens, Stankonia, and Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. The collection also celebrates the 25th anniversary of Stankonia. Sets with randomly inserted parallels contain a bonus fourth card, including hand-signed autograph cards from André 3000 and Big Boi, numbered to four in red foil and one-of-one gold foil. Foil parallels for all three cards include rainbow foil numbered to 25, blue foil numbered to 10, red foil numbered to four, and gold foil numbered one-of-one.
A limited edition version features exclusive cracked ice foil cards numbered to 300. All cards come in GAS branded magnetic one-touch cases with holographic sticker seals in sealed GAS boxes.
