Akademiks got some styling tips — and some new clothes — from Playboi Carti before being able to snap pictures with the Music rapper.

In his Instagram Story on Friday (November 21), the podcaster declared himself "Opiumdemiks," named after Carti's Opium record label, along with a picture of him posing outside of a tour bus. Akademiks was fitted in a jacket for Carti's Anarchist Tour, black shades, and military green cargo pants.

During a livestream, Akademiks recounted his time hanging with the "Evil J0rdan" artist while attending his concert.

"Carti's like, 'Yo, Ak, we have to take a picture," Ak said. "I'm like, 'Alright, let's do it.'"

But apparently, the rapper doesn't pose in pictures taken with iPhones, opting to have a professional photographer on standby.

"So he calls his famous camera guy and while he's doing that he's like, 'Ak, I gotta dress you,'" the media personality continued. "You can't just take a picture with Carti like that. "And I'm like, 'Okay, pause, let's go.'"

Carti decked out Ak in HBA boots and other pieces from his dressing room, which the podcaster compared to a mall.

"It was like a thousand clothes there all on hangers, that's all in Carti's dressing room," Ak said, listing off random items like "camel overalls."

Carti also threw Ak some Chrome Hearts sunglasses, taking off his personal pair for him to wear.

"I promise you. The n***a dressed me, bro," Ak concluded.

Carti, who ranked No. 2 in Complex's Most Stylish Atlanta Rappers list this year, also has a collaboration with Mitchell & Ness, available to cop on Complex Shop.
