Artist touring already comes with some hardships, but Big Boi and his team were in for a surprise when a woman mistook them for "migrants."
The Outkast member, who's currently making his rounds in California this week, shared the appalling story on Tuesday (September 3) on X.
"We’re on the tour bus in Cali right… we stopped for breakfast… why this lady ask sleepy brown “ Are ya’ll migrants being dropped off “ …Bish What ?"
Some fans guessed that the rapper was in Orange County, although he has a performance in Saratoga tonight, a nearly 7-hour drive from the OC. Until September 5th, Big Boi is on the road with New Orleans musician Trombone Shorty.
Sleepy Brown also addressed the situation on his own Instagram, sharing a screenshot of Big Boi's tweet set to Rap Ratz's "You Got Me Fucked Up."
The Atlanta native also spent some quality time with his son, Andre Patton Jr., 30, and grandson, Andre Patton III, 3, over the weekend while at the Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa.
"3 generations of Antwan Andre’ Patton… Twan 1 …Twan 2 …. Twan 3 … 🆙," Big Boi captioned an Instagram post with Andre Jr. and Andre III.
Referencing his 2008 single "Royal Flush," he added, "Daddy Fat Saxxx ..Bamboo…Cheesecake Iraq got that now they gunning for Iran…North Korea got that that shit that make LA look like Japan …Islands Nawl man more like the Caribbean …."
