As Honestly, Nevermind producer Gordo tells it, Drake's "been past" the beef with Kendrick Lamar.

The DJ and producer spoke to People and gave an update on his collaborator, sharing that not only is Drizzy unbothered by the feud, but he seems "happier."

"The thing is that he was just on the longest tour ever [It’s All A Blur Tour – Big As The What?]. He literally did a tour for like a year. I think he's just chilling," Gordo told the publication.

The Boy and K. Dot traded a number of diss tracks throughout the spring, beginning when the latter hurled insults at Drake on "Like That" on Future and Metro Boomin's We Don't Trust You. Drake followed up with "Push Ups" and since-removed track "Taylor Made Freestyle," which lured Kendrick into responding on "Euphoria" and "6:16 in LA." While Drizzy returned fire on "Family Matters" and "The Heart Part 6," it was Kendrick who concluded the battle (for now) with the one-two punch of "Meet the Grahams" and "Not Like Us."

But Gordo added that regardless of Drake not necessarily going out on top in terms of public perception, he's never been "happier." Apparently, Gordo's seen Drake's enthusiasm firsthand since the two have "hung out even more."

"Ever since all this has happened... I've seen him happier," he said. "It's really weird. He's pretty jolly... The internet makes it seem like, 'Oh, that photo, he's all sad and shit.' That's just a bad photo from a bad camera. But because it's him, it's put under a magnifying glass like, 'Oh, look at his eyes. He's looking a little droopy. He hasn't slept.' But the guy's been happy as shit, to be honest. He's chilling."

Gordo also spoke to Complex this summer, sharing that he's "not involved" with the beef but that the disses the rapper's gotten have opened his eyes up to "a lot of snakes out there."

"There's a lot of snakes out there, a lot of people who have just been waiting for the opportunity to say something, and when you cut the grass, you see the snakes," he said. "We saw a lot of that, and that's just how it is. That's how life is. I deal with it every day. He deals with it, everyone else deals with it. We just got to keep it pushing and create distance."
