Reggaeton notable Ryan Castro had a Barclays Center takeover this past weekend.
On Saturday (November 16), the Colombian rapper-singer performed for a sold-out crowd of 12,000 at the Brooklyn live entertainment venue on the penultimate date of his SENDÉ World Tour. Castro, who released his debut album El Cantante del Ghetto last year, wasn't without special guests: J Balvin, his four-year-old son, Rio, along with reggaeton duo Yaga & Mackie and fellow Latin artists Kris R and Hamilton also graced the stage.
Castro's latest tour is in support of his sophomore album, SENDÉ, which released in May and has showcased his continued streak as a progressive artist in the reggaeton genre.
While Castro will next perform in Los Angeles on November 22, the final date of his U.S. tour, the artist's biggest show of his career will be held at Estadio Atanasio Girardo in Medellín, Colombia, on April 26, 2026. If his Brooklyn show was a practice run, Castro should have no problem performing for more than 45,000 fans when he returns to his hometown.
