Travis Scott made his feelings about Pusha T known during his Japan concert on Saturday (Nov. 8).
While onstage at Tokorozawa’s Belluna Dome, the rapper dissed the Clipse member while performing Jackboys 2 opener "Champain & Vacay." On the song, Scott raps, "Made a hundred off pushin' Ts, Now my phone on DND."
During the performance, Scott threw in a "Man, fuck that n***a" at the end of the line. It wasn't the only surprise during the show: Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, also showed up to perform with Scott in a move that shocked fans.
The war between Scott and Pusha is ongoing months after the latter ignited the feud on promotional Clipse track "So Be It." On the song, Pusha also delivered a scathing reference to Kylie Jenner, the mother of Scott's two children.
"You cried in front of me, You died in front of me, Calabasas took your bitch and your pride in front of me/Heard Utopia had moved right up the street, And her lip gloss was poppin’, she ain’t need you to eat," Pusha rapped on the song.
Before the song's release, Pusha confirmed to GQ's Frazier Tharpe that he had smoke for Scott after the rapper neglected to play Utopia track "Meltdown" during a preview that Clipse and Pharrell Williams attended in Paris.
On the song, featured artist Drake threatens to melt Williams' chains that he bought from auction.
But in a new interview with Tharpe, Clipse denied using rap feuds for promotion.
"You can’t let the journalism be a main focus of the rollout and you tiptoe around shit. I wasn’t going to come in and give you scenarios, and be tiptoeing around the stories," Pusha said in the video below.
"I'll take the criticism, it’s fine. But never call me a liar. Because I never lie. I never lie. Lemme tell you something: I think lying’s for bitches. If you lie about shit, that’s because you’re scared of something, and I’m not scared of anything or anybody. So what I say is what I say."
