In time for her 28th birthday, Mariah the Scientist received some "luv" from her boyfriend, Young Thug.
One day after his headlining performance at ComplexCon 2025, on Monday (Oct. 27), Thugger posted a candid photo of Mariah rocking a bedazzled mask while riding in the passenger seat of a car.
"Happy bday baby mama me luv u [tongue emoji]," Thug captioned the post.
Commenters were in a frenzy over whether the Hearts Sold Separately artist is expecting, although "baby mama" is often a term of endearment.
The couple first collaborated on "Walked In" from Mariah's second album RY RY WORLD. The singer-songwriter most recently supported her boyfriend during his ComplexCon set over the weekend.
Thug's post may have hushed rumors that he and Mariah have broken up, which he claimed during a livestream with Adin Ross earlier this month.
"I got broke up with, n***a," the UY SCUTI rapper said. "But I still got, I got a girl. She probably don’t got a boyfriend but I got a girlfriend."
Even when Thug was behind bars during his YSL racketeering trial, which concluded last November when the rapper accepted a plea deal, Mariah held him down with repeated courtroom visits.
While on Complex's Please Explain earlier this year, Mariah admitted that Thug was a bit of a "player" in the beginning of their relationship but expressed that they've "worked through some things" to get where they are now.
"But I love him down," Mariah told Complex editor-in-chief Aria Hughes. "And we have worked through some things, you know, we have really... it has taken a lot to come to a place of just like fully understanding what each other wants as individuals. ... Like, if you love somebody, you compromise on some things, but at the same time, they compromise for things for you."
