Janet Jackson announced tonight (Dec. 24) that she is postponing her "Unbreakable World Tour" for several months to undergo surgery. Jackson shared the news on Twitter, declining to specify the nature of the surgery and promising to reschedule the affected dates this upcoming spring.
The original tour, which kicked off in August leading up to the release of Jackson's eleventh album, was slated to run between January 9 and June 29 in 2016. The latest postponement is the second in several months as Jackson was forced to take time off in October in order to "rest [her] vocal chords."
