Max B has truly hit the ground running following his long-anticipated release from prison. Now that he’s been free for nearly two weeks, with new music confirmed to be on the horizon, the beloved Silver Surfer is highlighting some of the stark differences he’s observed since regaining his freedom.

“I’ve been gone a long time,” the 47-year-old remarked on Wednesday (Nov. 19) while speaking with a TMZ paparazzo, who then asked him to name the “biggest shock in society” he’s observed in recent days.

“People got older, that’s it,” Max initially responded, before adding in one more observation.

“Things are more expensive,” he noted.

To that end, Max attributes his currently busy schedule to the fact that he’s “gotta keep the bills paid.” He also teased the impending arrival of new music, namely the upcoming seventh entry in his Public Domain mixtape series, titled The First Purge.

Fresh off his release earlier this month, Max, as previously reported, is estimated to have celebrated with a $500,000 jewelry haul. Speaking with Complex’s Mike DeStefano, Joe Avianne of Avianne and Co. said he and his team welcomed the opportunity to work with the influential artist at such a pivotal time in his life.

“I hope that Max B is in love with this as much as we are,” Joe, who serves as creative director of the New York company, said. “We poured our all into this.”

Max’s post-release celebration also included taking in a Jets and Browns game, plus a private dinner with French Montana and special guests.
