ComplexCon 2025 was one for the books.
Between Daniel Arsham’s creative direction that was seen and felt throughout the two-day event, along with the countless brands on site, streetwear culture took over Vegas.
But if you’re wondering which activation stood out, the answer is the adidas Originals and Hellstar collaboration. Located inside a booth that can only be described as a tripped-out out futuristic funhouse, the line for the exclusive capsule wrapped around the proverbial block.
Hellstar collaborator and artist Miles Franklin decked out the booth with graffiti, which, when attendees stepped inside, became fluorescent under black light. After entering, guests were able to see how adidas Originals and Hellstar combined forces by way of T-shirts, hoodies, accessories, and, of course, the adidas Originals x Hellstar Superstars.
The first drop—the Black adidas Originals and Hellstar Superstar and apparel collab—took place on Saturday, followed by a surprise drop of the white Superstar with glow-in-the-dark elements on Sunday.
Just outside, attendees were treated to a T-shirt customization to make the experience even more unique, and Hellstar Founder Seanie Holland also surprised a few attendees when he pulled up. When Hellstar and adidas Originals came together, it was the perfect marriage of classic and culture. A union ComplexCon attendees and streetwear lovers can only hope to continue.
