Storm Reid jumped on the bandwagon of LiAngelo Ball’s viral song "Tweaker" in a recent tweet.
The Euphoria star allegedly had a close call with someone near the University of Southern California, which Reid attends, according to someone on X. The explanation came after Pop Crave shared that Reid would not be returning to the aforementioned HBO drama.
"The other day she literally almost ran me over with her scooter at the Trader Joe’s next to USC," the user wrote.
In reference to "Tweaker," a second person added, "She just swerved and bent that corner smh."
Joining in on the reference, Reid replied, "WOAHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"Tweaker" has become a megahit on TikTok, opening the doors for Ball to ink a deal with Def Jam Recordings worth up to $13 million and be tapped as a Rolling Loud LA performer. With the song drawing comparisons to early 2000s New Orleans rap, Southern rappers like Boosie BadAzz and MoneyBagg Yo want in on the "Tweaker" remix.
As for Reid not returning to Euphoria for its long-delayed third and final season, the actress confirmed to TMZ that her schedule was in misalignment with the show's crew, along with her preparing to graduate USC.
But Reid says she'll be tuned in once the show returns next year. "Euphoria is always going to be a cultural phenomenon whether you like it or not," she told TMZ. "People want to tune in. People want to see what’s going to happen with Ru, so I will be there."
