Timothée Chalamet has an interesting Marty Supreme campaign idea that involves the Tyler, the Creator-founded Camp Flog Gnaw.

With a little over a month until the Christmas Day release of the sports comedy-drama, which Chalamet and Tyler (as Tyler Okonma) star in, Chalamet jumped on X to post what appeared to be a discussion with the film's "marketing team." It was a meeting that mostly involved the actor throwing out progressively more ridiculous promo options in order to make the movie's release, in his words, "one of the most important things that happens on Planet Earth this year."

After tossing out ideas that involved "thousands of Wheaties boxes" and an orange-colored Statue of Liberty and Eiffel Tower, the SAG Award winner eventually proposed a blimp reading "Marty Supreme" at the top and "Dream Big" at the bottom.

"Everywhere you go–Marty Supreme blimp," Chalamet said around the 10:30 mark of the video below. Despite some pushback by a member of the team, Chalamet urged everyone in the Zoom meeting to see his vision.

"I don't wanna personally get in it because I have a fear of flying," Chalamet said.

The actor also brought up Camp Flog Gnaw, which was postponed from this weekend to next due to weather circumstances in Los Angeles.

"Like, even [as] Tyler is headlining Flog Gnaw, we should have the blimp go above Camp Flog Gnaw and rain Marty Supreme ping-pong balls," the actor continued.

Another person in the group brought up the balls potentially being a "safety hazard," although she assured Chalamet that the team would "think" about it.

"And I don't want to put anybody in a unsafe condition, too," Chalamet said. "But I also don't wanna be too safe about putting out this movie. If it's the difference between someone losing an arm and putting out the movie and someone gaining an arm intellectually when they see it, I'm a fan of the latter."

While the "marketing team" starts a conversation with Goodyear, Marty Supreme, based on late table tennis champion Martin Reisman, will press forward with its December 25 release. The A24 film, directed by Josh Safdie, also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A'zion and Fran Drescher.
