While it’s true that rapper Smoke DZA is a huge gamer, he might be an even bigger wrestling fan. The Harlem representative even had legendary wrestler The Iron Sheik in his video for the track “New Jack” off his album Rugby Thompson that dropped in June via High Times Records and Cinematic Music Group. Like his name suggests, Smoke DZA loves a good puff or two and pairs it well with some video games. While he’s anxiously awaiting NBA 2K13, let it be known to Jay-Z: Smoke DZA wants in on that soundtrack.

10. Mega Man

I don't know, I always liked Mega Man for some reason. Just the little kid in a helmet that used to shoot shit up. That's kind of cool. I like his coloring and shit. He had a cool little uniform so I used to play that.

9. Contra

I used to play Contra a lot on Nintendo when I was a kid. I don't remember the codes, though. All I remember is some crazy shit for Street Fighter. But yeah, Contra was my thing.

8. Madden '97

That was the last time I played a John Madden game. I think Madden '97 was really cool because the gameplay was simple before all that other shit. I got to play with fucking Brett Favre on the Green Bay Packers. Favre was one of my favorite football players at that time so that was big to me.

7. Marvel vs. Capcom

That was a game where you can fight a Street Fighter character with one of the X-Men or fight a Street Fighter character against Captain America or Iron Man. The gameplay was ridiculous. My favorite was Wolverine vs. Ryu. I would be Wolverine because Wolverine had the “Berserker Barrage” and I could just body the opponent with that move. It's always a toss up Between Wolverine and Spiderman. Sometimes I might take Guile or somebody where I could do a blade kick. That was my thing.

6. NBA 2K12

I play this a lot right now, but my first one was NBA 2K, that was the year 2000. So I mean technically, I could go from NBA 2K to NBA 2K12 because I play those games every day for the whole year until the next one comes out. There's always new gameplay [With the NBA 2K series] and there's always new players that come in the league from college and the graphics get better. It's always something new every year. Before they had it where you could only play the season. Now they have it where you could play the season or make a "My Player" where it's like you lock in on one player and you do that player's whole career. So, it changes every year. Like this year [with NBA 2K13], I don't even know what's going to be the new shit. Jay-Z is my favorite rapper in life so the fact that he has anything to do with it is crazy. I want to be on that soundtrack!

5. Golden Eye 007

That was the only shooting game that I could play and not be bored because it was just so cool. I remember playing that shit a lot. I’m not a big James Bond fan in real life though. I just really liked that title.

4. Super Mario Bros 3

Super Mario Bros 3 was always a great video game for me. When I played, it was a something I played a lot. I guess that's like a generic game, but I had fun playing with it. Yeah. That was pretty cool.

3. NBA 2K

I'm a huge basketball fan in real life, and this game makes you want to get on the court and try out those moves. I play in player mode and make my own player the Kush God or named him what I want and make him a point guard and have him work his way up. I'm pretty good in basketball. I used to be really, really good, but after a few kids, 1000 blunts...or maybe 5 million blunts, joints, and add maybe like 75 pounds to when I used to play basketball. So I say I'm decent now. I'm just trying to get my legs back. But nothing changed as far as me in NBA 2K.

2. WWF No Mercy

Everything with the gameplay for that wrestling game was pretty tight. I enjoyed that a lot. I’m the biggest wrestling fan probably in rap. If we were to do like a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for wrestling in the Hip-Hop community, I would score. I would be that guy. I grew up on Hulk Hogan so he's definitely the guy to me, but Iron Sheik is my homie in real life too! We speak all the time.

1. WCW vs. nWo: World Tour

That video game was amazing. It had all different kinds of characters in it, that's why it was called WCW vs. nWo: World Tour. it was like WCW and nWo versus every other promotion wrestling organization that was around. It dealt with a lot of Japanese stuff and had different created wrestlers. It was just a million wrestlers in that video game and that was when they first started doing tag team moves and crazy shit like that.
