Jennifer Lawrence has admitted to having a "secret" life on TikTok — where she "rage-baits" commenters and gets into fights about pop culture.
The actor recently sat down with her Die My Love co-star Robert Pattinson to talk about their new film, working with Sissy Spasek, and, surprisingly, what Lawrence does online in her free time.
Around the six-minute mark of the video above, the Hunger Games star asked Pattinson if he has any "secret fandoms," and then revealed that she has a "secret life" on TikTok.
"I get in fights," she said, explaining it started with comments back and forth about the Real Housewives franchise and megacelebrity Kardashian family.
"This one girl was like, 'How old are you? Get a life,'" Lawrence said, chuckling.
Things became heated, she explained, when she began talking online about the British royal family, specifically about the familial relationship between Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
Lawrence said the royal husband and wife were first cousins, apparently causing an upset among TikTokers.
"People were thinking that I was trashing them and I was like I’m not, it’s just a fact," Lawrence said. "In the '40s, it would’ve been normal."
The late queen and her husband, however, were more distantly related than Lawrence seemed to believe. According to Business Insider, they were third cousins through Queen Victoria.
Regardless, Lawrence said she’s secretly been causing drama on TikTok without revealing her identity.
"I guess I rage-bait," she said.
Pattinson, for his part, said he doesn't have any secrets but joked that he "wish" he did.
The pair's new movie, Die My Love, tells the story of Grace (played by Lawrence), a writer and young mother, who finds herself slowly slipping into madness. Locked away in an old house in Montana, her increasingly agitated and erratic behaviour leaves her companion, Jackson (Pattinson), worried and helpless. It was released in theaters on Friday (November 7).
