Zac Efron was injured and taken to a hospital in Ibiza after getting into an accident while swimming.
According to TMZ, the actor had a "minor swimming incident" in a pool while hanging out in a villa on Friday night. Two employees at the villa reportedly pulled Efron out of the pool, and he was taken to a hospital for precautionary measures.
All seems to be well as Efron was released from the hospital and on his way to a full recovery. Efron's team has not revealed what caused his incident in the pool.
Before his pool incident, Efron had been busy traveling all around Europe, hitting up spots such as Ibiza, St. Tropez, Mykonos and Paris. However, this isn't the first time he suffered an injury that has people wondering what happened.
In 2022, Efron told Men's Health he once suffered a broken jaw while running around his house with only socks on his feet. According to Efron, he fell into a granite fountain and the injury almost killed him as his jaw was "hanging off his face."
He revealed the recovery and physical therapy he went through for the injury –not plastic surgery– changed the shape of his jaw.
"The masseters just grew," Efron told Men's Health, about the muscles found in the lower jaw. "They just got really, really big."
