Apparently, there is one obstacle that Frank Underwood can't wiggle his way around: Russian diplomats at the United Nations. The popular Netflix original show House of Cards was blocked by the Russians from filming parts of its third season at the U.N. building.
The Wrap reported that Russian diplomat Mikael Agasandyan acted on behalf of Putin's government:
China is also indecisive as to whether or not the show should be allowed to film at the U.N. Seeing that House of Cards doesn't always portray foreign governments in the friendliest light, their stance is unsurprising.
