Brooklyn Has Been Hit With a String of Anti-Gay Hate Crimes

Anti-gay hate crimes in New York continue as the AVP (Anti-Violence Project) reported an anti-gay hate violence attack that occurred in Crown Heights, Brooklyn on July 6, at around 8 in the morning. According to media reports, a 34-year-old, openly gay man was verbally accosted and punched in the face in an unprovoked attack. Luois Lloyd, 29, has been named as the assailant.

This was the third anti-LGBTQ incident in Crown Heights that week.
