Fresh off of a teaser shared on Instagram yesterday by Kevin Durant's media company, Boardroom, we're now learning about the first release of the Nike KD 18.
Part of Nike's newly unveiled collection for All-Star Weekend and coinciding with his 15th All-Star selection is the "Black Label" KD 18. The mesh upper appears to be partly inspired by the Air Terra Humara, based on the midfoot panel's design that connects from the lace loops to the midsole. Additional details include a mini Swoosh logo on the heel and "KD" branding on the tongue. Nike also confirmed that this "Black Label" colorway will be limited to 1,988 pairs as a nod to KD's birth year.
This "Black Label" KD 18 will be released on Feb. 14 at Nike's Future Game experience at 278 Post St. in San Francisco and at Foot Locker’s NBA All-Star experience at 150 Powell St.
