Donald Trump has announced plans to host a UFC event at the White House in 2026.

As reported by CNN, the President said the Executive Mansion will host a UFC fight alongside other events celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America.

"Every one of our national park battlefields and historic sites are going to have special events in honor of America 250," said Trump at an Iowa rally on Thursday (July 3). "We’re going to have a UFC fight — think of this — on the grounds of the White House."

Trump — who frequently attends UFC events and is pals with its CEO, Dana White — is "dead serious" about the plans, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt later confirmed. "We are in discussions with the White House about hosting a UFC event on site," added a UFC official.

When he announced the plans, Trump mentioned White. "Dana's gonna do it, Dana's great, one of a kind," he said. "We're going to have a UFC fight, a championship fight. A full fight, like, 20-25,000 people. We're gonna do that as part of 250, also. We're going to have some incredible events. The UFC fight's gonna be a big deal."

Dana White joined Trump during his inauguration earlier this year alongside other supporters such as Conor McGregor, brothers Jake Paul and Logan Paul, and podcaster Joe Rogan. White also introduced Trump at the Republican National Convention during the 2024 election.
