Jaylen Brown is fed up with fans telling him they lost their parlay bet because of him.

The Boston Celtics star appeared on the latest episode of the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, seen below, and was asked about how he deals with criticism from the media and from fans. "With the fans, nowadays in this era, it's all about gambling," he replied at the 43:00 point of the episode. "That's the fan engagement from now. It's created a hostile environment almost for athletes. ... I can have a good game and n***as still be online talking shit."

He said that he tries to avoid social media when possible now because of the toxicity from some fans. "But if I do happen to get on, if I do happen to just scroll, the comments be like, 'Fuck you, n***a... if I see you in the street...' I'm like, 'For real?' ... I'mma say this to the camera, if one of you parlay fuckers run up on me, I'm telling you... I'mma fuck you up. Try it if you want to. That's all I'mma say."

He added that he practices muay thai and tai chai, offering fans another reason not to confront him in the street.

It's certainly not Jaylen Brown's fault if you don't nail a parlay, which is when multiple bets are tied together for a greater payout. The likelihood of winning on a parlay versus a standard bet is significantly lower, even if the potential winnings are much higher. Brown could have one of the best games of his career, but if something else goes wrong somewhere down the line, then that's a lot of money down the drain.
