Kevin Durant has responded to criticism over his partnership with FanDuel, clarifying his stance on sports betting after previously laughing off fans who blamed him for losing money on bets.

In a tweet shared on Saturday, November 16, the Phoenix Suns player revealed his NFL Week 11 picks for FanDuel. "You guys with me this week?" he shared alongside the graphic showing his picks.

The tweet raised eyebrows of some fans who thought it was interesting to see Durant, who has been critical of the culture surrounding sports betting in the past, promoting FanDuel. "The dude who tells people to stop gambling and get a job promoting fan duel," the fan wrote alongside a crying emoji.

Durant retweeted the comment and clarified his stance. "No, I tell u to stop complaining about this life that you've committed to," he wrote. "When u lose, there's finger pointing. When u win, there's gloating about how smart you are about seeing the future. No gratitude to the service workers like myself. I'm sick of it."

The comments come about a week after Durant shared a hilarious response to a fan after LeBron James earned a triple-double and pointed to a fan after his tenth rebound of the game. After the game, LeBron told reporters that the fan told him to score "one more rebound," so he pointed at him in response to "acknowledge that [he] was listening."

Fans speculated that the fan placed a bet on the Lakers star to get a triple-double, which prompted someone to joke, "[Kevin Durant would tell us to get a job meanwhile Bron Bron knows what's up."

In response, Durant tweeted, "GO GET A JOB!!! For the love of god."
