WWE U.S. Champion and online personality Logan Paul has officially closed the chapter on his long-running legal dispute over the failed NFT venture CryptoZoo.
According to Bloomberg Law, a district judge has upheld the previous dismissal of the class action lawsuit that accused Paul of misleading investors.
The case, initially filed in 2023, claimed that Paul and his associates promised profits through an NFT game where players could breed and trade digital animals for potential earnings. However, the project never fully materialized, sparking widespread backlash and allegations of a “rug pull.”
In August, a magistrate judge dismissed the lawsuit after determining that the plaintiffs had failed to demonstrate a direct connection between Paul’s actions and their financial losses.
That decision has now been made permanent. Paul’s attorney, Jeff Neiman, confirmed the outcome, noting that the court reaffirmed its earlier finding: “No reasonable juror could find Logan’s statements misleading or fraudulent.”
Neiman also referenced the timing of the decision, which coincided with Paul’s wedding to model Nina Agdal in Lake Como, Italy. “On the day Logan walked down the aisle,” he said, “a magistrate judge delivered the perfect wedding gift: total dismissal of the CryptoZoo class action.”
The legal victory comes as Paul continues expanding his entertainment portfolio beyond the WWE ring.
In addition to his wrestling career, he remains an active content creator, podcast host, and entrepreneur through ventures such as Prime Hydration—a company co-founded with KSI that has become a major player in the sports drink market.
Despite the dismissal, the CryptoZoo controversy continues to cast a shadow over the influencer-turned-athlete’s digital legacy. The project’s collapse left investors holding NFTs with little to no value, and while the court ruled in Paul’s favor, questions about the accountability of high-profile figures in the crypto space persist.
For now, Paul walks away without financial or legal consequences, effectively ending one of the most high-profile NFT-related cases in recent memory. Whether the fallout from CryptoZoo fades or resurfaces in future projects remains to be seen—but legally, at least, this round belongs to Logan.
