Shiloh Sanders is no longer a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the rookie was ejected for throwing a punch in a game.

The undrafted free agent and son of Deion Sanders got into it with Zach Davidson of the Buffalo Bills over the weekend during a preseason game in Tampa Bay.

After the whistle, the two continued shoving each other before Sanders threw the punch, hitting Davidson in the helmet. The referee quickly threw a penalty flag and Sanders was quickly ejected.

Tampa Bay head coach Todd Bowles was clearly upset by Sanders actions—saying after the game, “You can’t throw punches in this league. It’s inexcusable. They’re gonna get you every time. You gotta grow from that.”

Less than 24 hours after the incident, the Buccaneers announced Sanders had been waived by the team. There's still a chance the team can add him to the practice squad if he's not picked up off of waivers by another squad.

Sanders went undrafted out of Colorado in the 2025 draft but was later signed by Tampa Bay. His brother, Shedeur Sanders, was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round of the same draft.

Shedeur is currently fourth on the Brown's quarterback roster behind Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and rookie QB Dillon Gabriel.

Of course, it's been a summer of headlines for the Sanders family. Deion revealed he had been privately battling bladder cancer—having his bladder removed. He's now cancer free and will be on the sidelines for Colorado for the upcoming College Football season.

During an emotional press conference, Deion shared his children had all been at his side for every step of the way through his health battle. He told fans they can expect to see a porta potty on the sidelines this season, joking, "I can't pee like I used to pee, it's totally different ... I cannot control my bladder."
