Sky Daily, widow of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, spoke to TMZ and denied Ric Flair's claim that street drugs contributed to her husband's death on July 24, 2025. Flair made the claim during an appearance on the DOUBL3 COVERAGE podcast, saying he spoke with Hogan the day before his death about his deteriorating health and claiming the icon's doctor stopped prescribing pain medication for wrestling injuries, forcing him to seek an alternative. Sky told TMZ Sports that Flair's account is false.
"That didn't happen at all," Sky said when asked about Flair's comments, per TMZ Sports. She also denied that Flair spoke with Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, the day before his death at age 71. Sky said the WWE Hall of Famer was under constant care at Morton Plant Hospital in Florida leading up to his passing, contradicting the Nature Boy's narrative.
Sky explained the only medication changes Hogan experienced came following a neck procedure to ensure prescriptions did not impact his lungs. She suggested Flair, a longtime friend and fellow wrestling icon, was either misinformed or misunderstood the circumstances surrounding Hogan's final days. Clearwater police and fire crews were called to Hogan's estate just after 9:50 a.m. on July 24, where he received CPR for approximately 30 minutes before being pronounced dead, according to previous reports.
