Contrary to popular belief, semi-trucks are not simply chrome-covered behemoths put on the road for us to plead with them to honk. They provide a crucial service to this counrty, by hauling, among other things, a great deal of our food from wharehouse or distribution plant to restaurants and grocery stores. The heroic drivers put in long hours and do one helluva job keeping food on our plates. Every one in a while, though, things don't go accoring to plan. Grab your bib.
