When the news surfaced that George Karl was being let go by the Denver Nuggets, it left plenty of people scratching their heads. Add Karl himself to that list of individuals. Recently, the 2012-13 Coach of the Year spoke with Benjamin Hochman of The Denver Post and he didn't hold back, calling the sudden coaching change “very stupid," as well as admitting that "since then [the firing], I don’t understand it.”

Karl also touched on the differences he had with the Nuggets front office over the handling of JaVale McGee and the other young players' minutes. "We won 57 wins and are in a great place," Karl said. "Continuity, consistency, togetherness are all so much more valuable than they have on their priority list than playing JaVale McGee or the young players."

Then, Karl went in for the kill.

You gotta feel for Karl, but maybe he actually saw this coming all along...
