Blueface is stepping back into the boxing ring, this time against former NBA star Nick Young.
The rapper made the announcement during a livestream with streamer N3on, who asked if he planned to fight again. According to Blueface, he already has a fight lined up with Young, and is planning on giving him all he's got in the ring.
"Oh yeah…perfect timing," said Blueface. "Nick Young, Swaggy P, we already got it lined up. He getting the first issue. Y'all heard it first. We probably going to do it March, April."
The revelation lines up with earlier comments from Blueface's manager, Wack 100, who told VladTV in September that he was working to secure the matchup with Young for February and had already enlisted "some Russian trainers" to help Blueface prepare.
Blueface and Young were originally scheduled to face off in 2022 at the Crypto.com Arena as part of the Social Gloves event headlined by YouTubers Austin McBroom and AnEsonGib, though the bout ultimately fell through. Blueface already has some ring experience, as he defeated TikToker Kane Trujillo in July 2021 and even fought off a fan who rushed the ring moments after his victory.
Nick Young, meanwhile, is relatively new to boxing but has long expressed interest in the sport. The former NBA champion once called out Logan Paul, Gilbert Arenas, and Chad Ochocinco for potential celebrity fights.
