Celebrity Boxing founder Damon Feldman wants LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith to settle their feud in the ring.
Earlier this week, Feldman released a video where he explained wanting to set up a potential fight between LeBron and Stephen A amid their simmering feud. LeBron had paid a visit to the Pat McAfee Show to discuss several things this week, including his gripe with Stephen A and explained how the legendary journalist missed the point of why he had an issue with the comments made about him as a father and his son, Bronny James. According to Feldman, he has investors in Saudi Arabia who are ready to see Stephen A. and LeBron go toe-to-toe.
"You see what's going on with LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith," said Feldman. "Stephen A. Smith you keep calling everybody out, putting them on the spot. You had something to say to LeBron. Now you're doing some boxing training so you have to be calling LeBron out. So bottom line is I already talked to my investors in Saudi Arabia and now is the time. They're willing to back this match, are you going to step up? Let's make this happen LeBron James versus Stephen A. Smith in Celebrity Boxing."
Feldman's pitch comes after LeBron trolled Stephen A by posting an old video of him training with a boxer that went viral due to how funny people thought he looked throwing punches. Stephen A returned fire on First Take and ridiculed LeBron for taking things to a juvenile level.
"He puts out some page about me boxing and all of this other stuff from a decade ago with two torn rotator cups," Smith said, as seen in the video below. "Fine, no problem. It's a very, very embarrassing video.,I'll be the first to say, even though I like it to be left up there because if people think I wanna throw hands like that, that's how I throw hands. Knock yourself out."
He added, "That's how petty you've become" he said. "You're LeBron James. You're that butthurt over the things that I'm saying that you would post that video? When has LeBron James ever done something like that? But suddenly you're doing that as it pertains to me. This man is in his feelings. I wonder why. Could it be because I don't believe you're the GOAT? Because I'll never believe you're the GOAT? Because I have you No. 2 at all times?"
