Kevin Durant added another classic moment to his growing list of trolling highlights during Wednesday night’s Rockets-Grizzlies game.

During the Rockets’ 124–109 win over Memphis, Durant was caught on camera taking playful aim at Ja Morant’s father, Tee Morant, who was seated court-side.

In a TikTok video shared by @courtsidedunk, KD can be seen walking toward Tee during a timeout and saying, “Your son don’t wanna be here,” drawing laughter from Tee and his friends.

Not done stirring the pot, Durant added, “We know it’s your last weekend. Enjoy your time,” continuing to troll as the group cracked up.

The jab came amid growing speculation surrounding Ja Morant’s relationship with the Grizzlies organization. Reports of tension between Morant and the team have circulated for weeks, with fans pointing to his body language and low energy during games. Last week, Morant served a one-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team.

He returned to play during a Monday night 114–104 loss to the Detroit Pistons at FedExForum, but he finished with 18 points on 5-of-16 shooting and turned the ball over five times. On Wednesday, the 26-year-old guard struggled again, finishing with 17 points, six turnovers, and minimal interaction with new head coach Tuomas Iisalo.

When reporters asked if things had been cleared up between him and the coaching staff, Morant deflected: “Y’all asked that question to them, right? So y’all know the answer to that.”

Pressed further about his mindset, Morant admitted the joy just isn’t there right now. When asked if basketball still felt the same for him, he flatly replied, “No.” Asked why not, he shrugged and made a noise. When asked what could restore his joy, he said simply, “We’ll see.”

Meanwhile, some of Durant's other comments have sparked a response this month as well. KD's former Warriors teammate Draymond Green reacted to a comment Durant made on season two of Netflix’s series Starting 5 where he stressed the importance of offense in winning championships. In an interview with The Athletic, Green claimed defense trumped offense and was somewhat surprised by KD's comments.

"If anything, it was like a head-scratcher. I was like, 'Huh?' But on the flip side, it wasn't that much of a head-scratcher because I know Kevin," said Green. "I didn't see the whole context, so I also know that words get flipped. But I read what he said."
