Adrien Broner has admitted he got punched in the face during a recent brawl.
A few days ago, a video capturing a man getting beat up at a nightclub went viral, with many people believing that the man getting paws put on him was Broner. Now, in a new clip of him in conversation with a friend, Broner revealed what happened.
“He stole me though,” said Broner, simply. But afterward, he said he got his lick back. “Now it’s time to catch these though. Return to sender I did.”
Broner then suggested that it wasn’t a fair fight, and he actually got jumped with a friend. “18 versus 2,” the boxer said.
The last major "L" that Broner took was when Coi Leray bobbed, weaved, and knocked him out verbally after he shot his shot at her while she was on Instagram Live.
“Be at my next fight in Miami May 31st at the Hard Rock on me,” he wrote with a heart emoji — letting her know not only that he means business, but he was trying to get into her business.
Leray saw the comment, paused to collect her thoughts, and let her disgust flow as freely as her recording a song in the booth.
"Trying to bag me on an Instagram Live is fucking crazy," she said. "Like, dead ass. Get the fuck on, okay? ... I'm not interested. That's fucking corny. The fuck are we doing here?"
Since Broner’s a boxer, he knew how to roll with the punches. He turned it into what he claimed to be promo for his fight. Yeah right.
“Now the whole world know I'm fighting at the Hard Rock in Miami May 31st lol I'm a marketing genius," he wrote.
Prior to that, GloRilla revealed that Broner had hopped into her DMs as well. Apparently, he didn’t have a snappy comeback for that "L" either.
