Everybody has someone in their life who’s an expert gift giver. In the rap world, that title belongs to Drake.
Throughout his career, the Toronto rapper has made it a habit to show love to some of his closest friends and collaborators with some pricey gifts. Ferraris, custom Rolex watches, diamond pendants—you name it, Drizzy has probably gifted it to one of your favorite rappers. Earlier this week, Sexyy Red became the latest artist to add her name to the long list of recipients. She took to Instagram to thank Drake for her new diamond-encrusted Cartier watch.
Seeing the “SkeeYee” artist’s new wristwear got us thinking about all of the other exorbitant items that Drake has given over the years. Just to be clear, this list below isn’t everything. There are plenty of other wild luxury items that Drake has given over the years, from $20,000 toilets to championship jackets for his hometown Toronto Raptors.
Drake is far from the only rapper to do this type of thing (we’re looking at you, Jay-Z), but he has certainly cemented his status as one of the very best. Check out some of the highlights from over the years, below.
Diamond Santos de Cartier Skeleton

The latest star to receive an expensive gift, courtesy of Drake, is the star of Summer 2023, Sexyy Red. The St. Louis rapper was first seen linking up with Drake backstage at a Brooklyn stop on his It’s All a Blur tour back in July. On Sept. 25, Sexyy Red posted a video to her Instagram account thanking him for an iced-out Santos de Cartier Skeleton. While the price with the diamonds added is unknown, a similar style can be found for $30,400 on the Cartier website. Her caption says it best. She was clearly very gracious. “Thank you Drakeeeeeeee ice me df out den.”
Ferrari F12berlinetta
Given to: 21 Savage
When: 2016
It isn’t always jewelry. Six years before linking up with 21 Savage for the collaborative album Her Loss, Drake gifted 21 Savage a red Ferrari F12berlinetta for his 24th birthday. Without knowing the specifics of the particular F12berlinetta that 21 Savage was given, it’s safe to say that it cost upwards of $300,000. Drizzy also took to Instagram to wish the Atlanta rapper a happy birthday in 2016, writing, “Happy G Day to a young October king with all the juice right now.” In 2018, 21 Savage told GQ that the sports car was the only gift that someone gave him for his birthday that year. “He the only one that got me something for my birthday that year,” he said. For anyone who may have thought that Her Loss came out of left field, it’s clear that Drake and 21 Savage’s friendship is strong.
Diamond Keys

This gift was definitely a major key. To celebrate the birth of his first son, Asahd, in 2016, Drake gifted DJ Khaled a set of diamond keys by Toronto’s Kilani Jewellery. A yellow gold key and a white gold key are each covered in diamonds. Both are inscribed with Asahd and Khaled's names. The two keys are linked together and inseparable. That’s some expensive symbolism.
ASAP Yams Pendant

One of the most heartfelt gifts that Drake has given, at least that we’re aware of, is this custom pendant honoring the late ASAP Yams. Drake gave this special piece to ASAP Rocky on Yams Day back in 2020. The pendant features 600 grams of gold, 15 carats of flawless diamonds, and various colors of enamel. It depicts Yams in one of his signature looks, a rainbow-colored Coogi sweater and headband. Even Yams' birthmark on his face was added to the piece. No detail was overlooked. It was crafted by Jason of Beverly Hills, a notable jeweler who Drake has worked with multiple times throughout his career. Long Live ASAP Yams.
One of One Richard Mille Watch

Of course, Drake’s frequent collaborator Future has received some gifts from Drizzy in the past. The What a Time to Be Alive collaborator was given a Richard Mille watch back in 2021 to celebrate “Way 2 Sexy” debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The wristwear featured a black band, red accents, and a skeletal face. While the exact specifications of the watch are unknown, Future referred to it as a “Demon time 1 of 1 joint” when he showed it off on Instagram. If there’s only one in the world, you know it’s got to be special and that it came with a high price tag.
36th Birthday Party Favors

Drake is so giving that he even gives gifts on his birthday. For his 36th birthday party at Miami’s Sexy Fish in 2022, guests could enter raffles for prizes that included Rolex watches, Chanel bags, $5,000 gift cards to Saks Fifth Avenue, and cash prizes. Much better than the bag of candy and trinkets that we remember taking home from our friends’ birthday parties back in the day.
Custom Chrome Hearts Rolex

Lil Baby is another rapper who has been gifted more than just verses from Drake. In 2021, the Atlanta rapper received a Rolex Day-Date customized by Chrome Hearts with a special band. Not quite as impressive as the one-of-one Chrome Hearts Rolls-Royce that Drake rides around in, but still an amazing present nonetheless. Drake isn’t always dishing out extravagant six-figure gifts to his close friends. In 2023, he sent some black socks to Fat Joe. The joke stemmed from Fat Joe saying that he was jealous of Drake’s lifestyle after hearing a rumor that Air Drake was gifted to him. He added on that he couldn’t even “get a fucking pack of socks” given to him for free. All in good fun, but Fat Joe did say it was “the most disrespectful shit I’ve ever seen in my life.” If it counts for anything, they were customized with Fat Joe’s name, so at least they were one-of-one.
