Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have reportedly been spotted kissing on the singer’s yacht in California.
On Saturday (October 11), Daily Mail shared pictures of Perry and Trudeau that seemingly confirmed their rumored romance. The photos appear to show the singer, in a black one-piece swimsuit, and Trudeau, shirtless in a pair of jeans, locking lips and embracing.
In one shot, Trudeau appears to have his arms around Perry’s backside while they embrace on the upper deck, while in another, he presses his face to her cheek while she has her arms around his neck.
The romantic session reportedly went down in the water around Santa Barbara late last month, apparently catching everyone who caught the moment by surprise. "She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out," a witness claimed to Daily Mail.
In July, Perry and Trudeau sparked rumors they were dating after they were spotted on a dinner date in Montreal. Afterwards, they went on a stroll together around Mount Royal Park in the city.
That same month, Trudeau was spotted at Perry’s "Lifetimes" Tour stop in the same city.
According to a Daily Mail source in August, Perry and Trudeau’s alleged romance had already encountered a setback.
"She’s busy, he’s busy," revealed the source. "They have a lot going on, and the newness has worn off." The source also shared that the pair had texted "nonstop" throughout July.
"But there’s nothing negative about it," they added. "They just aren’t in constant communication anymore. That could change, but for now, it is what it is. It has cooled off."
Perry broke up with actor Orlando Bloom in June after nearly a decade together. They share a five-year-old daughter, Daisy.
