Pusha T and his wife, Virginia Thornton, are expecting another child.
Thornton revealed the news on Instagram with a carousel post featuring her holding her pregnant stomach. “2nd masterpiece on the way,” she wrote with an emotional emoji. “God is good.”
Push and Thornton welcomed their first child, Nigel Broxx Thornton, on June 11, 2020. He appears in Williams’ carousel with her in videos and pictures of a visit to an art gallery where some of her work was displayed.
Back in 2022, Push spoke about the importance of legacy to him during an interview with Charlamagne Tha God.
“Legacy is everything right now for me,” said Push in a conversation about the death of his parents. “Because I understand that, in their passing, you know, I have so many great things to reference and, you know, with a tainted legacy you don’t have that.”
“I think about my son and he’s gonna be able to look at the legacy of his dad and be like, ‘Oh man, he was amazing.’ Because that’s my goal. Because [my parents] were amazing,” Push added.
Speaking of amazing things that Push has done, the rapper, along with his brother, Malice, has been nominated for five different categories at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
The Clipse’s acclaimed Let God Sort Em Out album, Push and Malice’s first together in over 15 years, has snagged nominations in five categories, including Album of the Year and Best Rap Album.
In an interview with GQ, Push and Malice made it clear that they’d love to win a Grammy for their new LP.
“Bringing home that hardware would mean everything,” Push said. “We going for it. We made the album, we looked at it like, this is that strong. We need to take something home for this.”
