Whoopi Goldberg had a recommendation for those who plan to watch the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show: adopt a "Latin accent."

With Bad Bunny set to headline the show in January 2026, during the Monday (October 6) episode of The View, the hosts discussed Benito's recent Saturday Night Live appearance, as well as the furor around his upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show performance.

During his SNL opening monologue, the Grammy winner delivered a message in Spanish and added, "If you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn."

Around the four-minute mark of video below, the roundtable discussed ICE's plan to raid the halftime show and "round up" undocumented immigrants, led by Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.

"Here's the thing: Everybody, get a little cocoa butter, sit in the sun, that's the first thing," Goldberg joked. "And this is the only time you can probably ever do this: Give yourself a Latin accent, and just see if she can tell who's who."

While on SNL, Benito addressed the backlash to his upcoming Super Bowl performance, joking, "I’m very happy and I think everyone is happy about it, even Fox News."

Bad Bunny intends for the Super Bowl halftime show to be his only performance in the United States next year before he'll embark on the international DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour. Last month, the artist concluded his 30-day No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency in Puerto Rico.

"People from the US could come here to see the show. Latinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here, or to any part of the world," Benito told i-D about his refusal to perform in the states. "But there was the issue that … ICE could be outside [my concerts]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about."
