Jordyn Woods couldn't stand for Funny Marco's assumption that Karl-Anthony Towns intentionally changes the sound of his voice.
Marco's comment was made on the Tuesday (November 11) episode of Open Thoughts, where, around the 20-minute mark of the video below, he began to share hot takes about the New York Knicks player. Woods and Towns have been together since 2020, and the socialite and entrepreneur relocated from Los Angeles to New York after the athlete was traded last year.
"And then Karl switch his voice a lot, too," Marco blurted out.
"I mean, it depends on the time of day, how he feels when he wakes up," Woods replied.
"I don't know, that's not okay with me, you know?"
The remark confused Woods, who responded, "What's not okay with you? You're here in a hot dog costume."
Marco, who was, in fact, dressed as a life-sized glizzy, couldn't argue with Woods' observation, and they proceeded to had a brief stare-off before the podcaster and comedian broke the silence.
"It's not okay for KAT to switch his voice a lot. And I feel like it should be one voice," Marco said.
"How are you going to tell someone what voice they should have?" Woods asked before proceeding to quiz Marco about the athlete's basketball stats. Marco eventually shared what he'd do if he spent a day as KAT, which includes sending himself $40,000 to "go back to the hot dog community."
Marco joins celebrities who've poked fun at Towns changing the pitch of his voice, like Nick Young did on podcast Gil’s Arena earlier this year.
